Do you do small domestic jobs, or just big contracts?
Both, and we mean it. The same team that wires a block of flats will change your fuse board or add sockets to your kitchen. Domestic work is booked in and done properly, not squeezed between contracts.
Which areas do you cover?
Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire for day-to-day work, with Milton Keynes as our base. For larger projects we work nationwide. Recent jobs include Chiswick, Guildford and Lowestoft.
Are you registered and insured?
NICEIC Approved Contractor, £5m public liability, and every installation carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
Who will I actually deal with?
The owner of the firm. The person who prices your work is the person who runs the job, so nothing gets lost between departments.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quoting is part of winning the work, so there is no charge and no obligation. For anything that needs a proper look before it can be priced honestly, we say so rather than guessing at a number over the phone.
Can you provide electrical certificates?
Yes. Every job that needs certification gets it, issued on completion and notified where the work is notifiable. That covers installation certificates, minor works certificates and condition reports, and you get copies for your own file.
Do you work directly with main contractors?
Regularly. We take complete electrical packages on commercial and residential projects, from initial design through to the handover file, and we have worked with the same main contractors over a number of years. Our contractor page sets out how we run on site.
How quickly can you get back to me with a price?
It depends on the job. A fuse board or an EICR can usually be priced from a photo and a conversation. A fit out or a development package needs a proper look at the drawings first. Either way we tell you when to expect it rather than leaving you waiting.
